Limited Warranty for Used pre-owned refurbished ultrasonic welders:

Unless otherwise quoted on the front page of the quotation, the Buyer purchases machinery quoted, "AS IS, WHERE IS, and WITH ALL FAULTS," having no implied warranty that the machine be merchantable or fit for any particular purpose, and no warranty which extends beyond the description on the quotation. There is no warranty as to any goods damaged due to accident, freight damage, abuse, improper installation or maintenance, modification or reworking, or repair other than Sonitek's authorized personnel.

Sonitek makes no warranty to those defined as consumers in the Magnuson-Moss warranty act.

CLAIMS: Customer must within 30 days of discovery of a claimed defect within any limited warranty period, give written notice to Sonitek of said defect. Equipment must be returned to Sonitek freight prepaid for warranty service. Machine will be returned to customer freight collect.

Any Limited Warranty stated in writing on the quotation for USED/REFURBISHED Ultrasonic Welders EXCLUDE catastrophic failure of the Converter/Transducer and/or major power supply components (i.e. mother boards, SPM boards, any other OEM proprietary devices and component supplied by the OEM) for any reason whatsoever! Some electrical components or proprietary OEM devices could become or are obsolete (i.e. Branson 400 series) and it is the buyer's responsibility to find suitable replacement. In any event or any failure of any component that requires Sonitek to purchase from the OEM and should cost exceed 5% of the selling price of the used welder purchase price will not be covered under the warranty. When buying used welders buyer assumes some risk in exchange for the significant savings used equipment offers over new equipment.

Limited warranties on USED equipment are F.O.B. Milford, Connecticut parts and labor. This warranty prevails over any other warranty whether expressed or implied. There is no warranty by Sonic & Thermal Technologies, Inc. d.b.a.: Sonitek Corporation as to compliance with any Federal, State or Local Laws and Industrial Codes including without limitation the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (and all amendments hereto), and the American National Standards Institute's Code B-151.1 of 1976 (and all amendments hereto). It is the buyers responsibility and duty to inspect all machinery, to provide proper safety devices and equipment or means that may be necessary to safeguard the operator from harm, and to safeguard each machine and equipment to meet all government standards, including O.S.H.A. and N.S.I. laws and codes mentioned above.
